Hario Syphon Paper Filter Adaptor , Metal Filter Adaptor With x50 Paper Filters
What’s in a name? Hario, translating as “The King of Glass”, is a Japanese company that has represented exceptional quality for brewing speciality coffee and tea since 1964. Our Hario Coffee Syphons are in a class of their own, but to use with the syphon paper filters, preferred by many, a special adaptor is required.
The Hario Syphon Coffee Makers may be the most captivating of all brewers in the world. But its design is more than visually pleasing. It’s driven by fascinating function – offering even saturation, effortless control and stable temperatures. Using paper filters, it serves up through a vacuum brewing method for a truly unique and smooth cup of coffee.
This adaptor will allow you to use paper coffee filters, which are known to produce a lighter and cleaner brew, and for some, makes coffee more pleasant. Paper filters have a finer design compared to their metal and cloth counterparts. They are known to trap more of the coffee granules and deposits, which may later contribute to cholesterol build-up.
Syphon paper filter adaptors are designed to fit the Hario Technica TCA-2, TCA-3, TCA-5 and Next NXA-5 syphon devices. They come with an additional 50 filter papers, which can also be bought separately.

EASY TO USE: Simply rinse the paper with boiling water before use. Rinsing helps minimise the paper taste as you get to the end of your brew and helps the coffee to filter through easier. A great alternative to the cloth filters provided with all Hario syphons

AFTER BREW: Unlike metal and cloth, filter papers are for one-time-use and are disposable. When done brewing, remove the used paper filter and put it into a bin. Then take your metal filter adaptor and rinse it with soap and water for the next use
